4Lasers introduces BSO crystals
2018-06-29
4Lasers introduces BSO crystals that are highly efficient photo conductor with low dark conductivity that allow a build-up of large photo-induced space-charges. These crystals have strong spectral dependence of the photo-conductivity and their electro-optic properties (electro-optic coefficient r41: 5,0 pm/V) allow to develop and produce a wide range of optical devices and systems.
These crystals have unique combination of different physical properties, that allow to use them in spatial light modulators, optical switches, phase conjugation wave mixers and optical correlators.
By modified Czochralski technique grown crystals could have up to 3" diam aperture in size.
